Brickendon Consulting has named Richard Burrell as its Non-Executive Chairman, bringing the number of new hires so far this year to 24. Burrell joins as part of Brickendon’s appointment of Mathieson Capital Investment Management Limited to provide strategic financial advice.
Burrell, a director at Mathieson Capital and Chief Executive Officer at energy company Aggregated Micro Power Holdings, will join the board of Brickendon as the young, but fast-growing management consultancy continues to win business with existing and new clients.
Brickendon Managing Director Christopher Burke welcomed Burrell’s appointment, saying: “Richard brings a wealth of experience within financial markets and we are very excited to add him to our non-executive team.”
Brickendon, which last year relocated from the City to Canary Wharf, is seeking to build on the significant growth already seen this year by focusing on the five main areas of strategy, risk, regulatory, data and test. The firm specialises in providing advice and support on strategy and optimisation, as well as offering leadership consultants to deliver complex change programmes.
Burrell’s appointment follows the addition earlier this year of two new Executive Directors, Lee Pittaway and James Aitken.
