Brickendon Partner and data specialist Nathan Snyder will be speaking about one of the biggest-ever changes to data privacy at the RegTech Summit for Capital Markets in New York.
Snyder, who heads up Brickendon’s data practice, will speak about the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) at the event on November 16th at Convene in New York’s financial district.
Brickendon is a transformational financial and technology consultancy specialising in five areas, one of which is data. The firm, which has offices in London and New York and has recently expanded into Warsaw, Poland, and Raleigh in North Carolina, works with many of the top global financial institutions, ensuring they manage their data correctly. The May 25 2018 deadline for GDPR compliance is posing a big challenge for many financial organisations, including those in the US, as the legislation applies to all data relating to EU citizens wherever it is used.
Snyder, who appeared earlier in the year as a guest speaker at the Data Summit in New York, has written several papers on GDPR, data governance and data quality. For more information on the summit see http://www.datamanagementreview.com/events/regtech-summit-capital-markets-new-york-city
